Howdy
Pleased to meet you. Feel free to grab a cold one from the cooler. I'll start at the beginning...
Growing up in South Texas , I'd entertain myself for hours by drawing scenes of wild-west shootouts between tin-starred cowboys and war-painted Indians. I felt the same creative spark when I finally traded the canvas for a camera.
Years later I moved to Austin , where I became heavily influenced by music. Much of my work is lyrically inspired by Wilco, Neko Case and Whiskeytown—as well as other seminal bands with their finger on the alt-country vein.
As life would have it, I ended up leaving the city for the country. I found contentment in the open fields, shelter in dilapidated barns and solace in the honesty of a rusted pickup. I still make it into the city, but only at night so no one can see the mud on my boots.
I hope you enjoy. Drop me a line if you're so inclined. And thanks for stopping by.
